The trail is under renovation and is expected to be closed until September 15, 2025 (tentative). The trail will be connected to the Fenkiku Trail and become part of the Fenkiku North Area trail system, a wooden horse trail for early logging. The trail starts from the entrance opposite the first parking lot, and follows a steep wooden staircase upward. After passing through the arched bridge spanning the railway, you will enter a large area of bamboo and cedar forest. There are two side trails along the way: one goes along the railway to the "Fenkiku Giant Tree," and the other starts at a trail junction in a sea of bamboo and leads to the "Emerald Bamboo Slope." Continuing on, the trail, composed of logs and gravel, winds its way through the green bamboo forest. After crossing the arched bridge over the Fenkiku Lake Creek, you will arrive at the old wooden horse trail, and its endpoint is the junction connecting to the Fenkiku Trail. DATA Trail Length: approximately 800 meters Walking Time: about 60 minutes one way Challenge Level: Level 2 (brave level) Entrance A: opposite the first parking lot GPS: 23°30'17.5"N 120°41'52.0"E Entrance B: near the level crossing on County Road 169, at the junction after entering the Fenkiku Trail.
