The North Penghu Tourist Service Center is located in Chikan Village, Baisha Village, Penghu County. It is the main tourist service center for the North Penghu area, offering consulting, boat waiting, ticketing, explanations, and dining services. It also provides lockers and luggage storage for travelers’ convenience. The first floor houses the counters of various speedboat companies, as well as the tourist service center and sales department. The second floor is a restaurant that offers convenient meals and a place to wait for boats. Next to the service center is Chikan Pier, the main departure point for speedboats to Jiibe Island, Xianjiao Island, Mudu Island, and other North Penghu islands. Chikan Pier is also the most important sardine fishing port in Baisha Township, and the sardine spawning season runs from April to September each year. The North Penghu Tourist Center has a free motorcycle parking lot. Behind the parking lot is a roughly three‑story‑high rock wall that showcases unique weathered rock formations. Due to its higher terrain, this area also preserves a relatively intact cactus plant and fruit landscape. There are plans to build a pavilion and wooden boardwalk above.
