Tangshan Mochi Wins “Economic” Award for Over Seventy Years
The “Mochi Jelly” that was once selected as a classic Taiwanese snack by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1991 has a history of 70 years. Founder Lin Dong learned the art of making authentic Tangshan mochi through his friendship with a local from Tangshan.
The signature classic mochi combines fragrant glutinous rice with a chewy texture that doesn’t stick to teeth; each bite reveals green‑bean filling and sweet roasted‑peanut powder, a unique blend of sweet and slightly salty.
