The National Cultural Heritage Site "Fan-shaped Warehouse" is a well-preserved treasure of Taiwan's railway culture. As the sole surviving structure in Taiwan, it is also known as the "Locomotive Hotel." Ascend the observation platform to overlook the entire structure from above. Here, you can witness the trains gently rotating on the central 360-degree turntable—an essential hub connecting to the 12 spur tracks. These tracks radiate outward in a semicircular arc toward the warehouse walls, forming striking diagonal lines that are uniquely distinctive. Adjacent to this sight stands a national treasure-grade steam locomotive, silently sharing historical moments with visitors, preserving the cultural and temporal journey of Taiwan's railway heritage.
