The Victory Gate is a white arch-shaped building located at the intersection of Huxia Village on Little Kinmen. Previously, it was the "August 23rd Resistance Monument" in the shape of a shell. It was built to commemorate the glorious victory achieved by the National Revolutionary Army after withstanding the fierce attack of more than 260,000 shells during the August 23rd artillery battle.
