The Kaohsiung 85 Building, with a total height including the antenna of 378 meters, comprises 85 floors above ground and 5 underground floors. It was completed in 1997 through the design efforts of architect Li Tsu-yuan's team, who incorporated unique Chinese elements into the structure. This architectural design of the "高" character appears to reign supreme, with its silhouette resembling a grand crane spreading its wings majestically, as if wearing clouds on its shoulders. Facing the southwest, it warmly welcomes distinguished air travelers; looking westward, it gazes toward the Taiwan Strait. Nested to the north lies the Xingang Harbor, while complex land transportation networks encircle it, functioning as the economic lifeline of Kaohsiung City. Embark on the uniquely romantic "Stellar Elevator," requiring merely 43 seconds to ascend to the 74th-floor observation deck of Jyun-Hong Tower.
