The Chengmei Right Bank Riverside Park is located between the Chenggong Bridge and the Macy's Bridge (on the Neihu side) along the Keelung River. Every weekend, you'll find groups of people, spaced just a few meters apart, intensely focused on their respective hobbies. Upon closer inspection, you'll see that they are into remote-controlled electric cars, digital SLR cameras, and more. What's more, it's the adults who seem to be having even more fun than the kids! The park offers a wide range of sports facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, a softball practice field, an ice skating rink, a single bar, and fitness facilities, providing Taipei residents with more space for exercise. The Rainbow Bridge, which connects the Chengmei Left and Right Bank Parks, is a striking, crimson-colored bridge with a unique design, resembling a rainbow arcing across the river. The bike path under the bridge is spacious, and the riverbank's protective wall is covered in lush green vines, with a wavy base that echoes the Rainbow Bridge's design. The bridge features elevators at both ends, allowing people with disabilities, seniors, and parents with strollers to easily access the top without having to climb, showcasing a thoughtful, barrier-free design. Additionally, a bike towpath is located in the middle of the staircase, enabling cyclists to effortlessly travel between the two ends. The Chengmei Right Bank Riverside Park also offers a panoramic view of the Taipei 101 building, with a picturesque backdrop of blue skies and white clouds. As night falls, the Keelung River's waters glimmer and sparkle, creating a harmonious scene that has made this location a popular gathering spot for photography enthusiasts.
