Although SHIAUZ is located at the intersection of bustling Culture Road, Chiayi City's Yanping Street has a unique and quiet atmosphere. The neighborhood is dotted with several specialty stores, making it a treasure hunt to explore. One store that always catches the eye is "SHIAUZ", a vintage clothing store with its own unique style, located on Yanping Street. It focuses on "diversified dressing proposals". Initially, the store sold clothes through online marketing, but in 2020, it opened its first physical store in Chiayi, and later expanded to Taipei and Taichung, with a total of three stores in Taiwan. The owner says that being able to make people look better through dressing is the most fulfilling thing.
The decision to open a physical store was an accidental one. Due to the increase in online business, a warehouse and studio were needed, and during the search for a space that fit the budget, the old house on Yanping Street was found. Although renovating the old house was a challenging process, once it was completed, it seemed a shame to use it only as a warehouse. This is how the first store in Chiayi was established, followed by subsequent expansions.
The store sells new and limited vintage items, focusing on diversified dressing and rich colors with a light vintage style. It also has its own "They." brand and occasionally collaborates with other stores on consignment items. Overall, dresses and unique color combinations are particularly popular.
