The serene Feng Huan Mountain House (Ses Village), located in the upstream area of Fenglin Creek's western side in Fenglin Town, a Hakka township, offers facilities such as a campground and barbecue area, and also provides travelers with accommodations, shopping, and dining options. The area is surrounded by emerald mountains and gently flowing streams, adjacent to Feng Huan Waterfall and Fenglin Creek, making it an ideal destination for eco-tourism. Originally the water source of the Fenglin area, Feng Huan Mountain House has clear, sweet water and preserves its primitive natural scenery. Following the indicated path along Fenglin Creek toward the mountains, one can see the elegant Feng Huan Waterfall, resembling a silver ribbon hanging from a 10-meter-high cliff. The air is filled with negative ions, and the pools of the creek are refreshingly icy and translucent, making it a wilderness attraction rich in natural charm. Therefore, long ago the town office of Fenglin designated the area as the Feng Huan Waterfall Scenic Area, offering a refreshing respite from the summer heat. After the establishment of the Hua-tung Valley National Scenic Area, the region was developed into a tourism zone for natural ecological exploration and spiritual pursuits. New facilities, including the extended campground and barbecue area, were added by adapting the existing structures of Feng Huan Mountain House. Moreover, Ses Village plans various spiritual exploration activities monthly, aiming to provide travelers visiting the Hua-tung Valley with additional unique styles and activity formats worth experiencing.
