Yang Hua was a distinguished general during the Qianlong era, who had remarkable military achievements. He once participated in the campaign against Lin Shuangwen and eliminated the sea pirates. His old house is a traditional Fujian-style building with three main halls and an additional wing on the left side. The entrance hall is decorated with a three-ridge roof, and the front and back halls are equipped with a dragon ridge. The detailed decorations are extremely delicate. The dragon wood carvings and brick carvings on the door panels are also impressive. Although the wooden structures between the beams and columns have lost their colorful paintings, they reveal more powerful and vigorous carving skills.
