The three-hall traditional temple that enshrines "Kaiwu Enzhu" Chen Yuan was rebuilt during the Daoguang period of the Qing dynasty, and is now a county-level historic site. It is said that Chen Yuan often appeared in spirit to drive away the Japanese pirates and protect the locals. Therefore, the court ordered the construction of a temple with seven halls, granted the temple's plaque with the words "Fuji," and posthumously conferred the title of "Fuyou Shenghou." This is the origin of the Muma Houci Temple. The temple currently has an ancient plaque of "Fuji" and ancient stones from the Qing dynasty. In addition, the dragon and tiger walls on both sides of the temple, as well as the intricate and exquisite terracotta and clay sculptures on the roof ridges, are all worth careful observation.
