The Administration of Kinmen National Park, under the Ministry of the Interior, is currently closing the site for the renovation of the Shui Tou De Yue Building and the Huang Huihuang Villa, as well as the Shanhou Xiqing Hall. The renovation is expected to be completed by the end of September 2025. Among the villas built by the Huang family in Shui Tou, the Huang Huihuang Villa is the most magnificent, as the De Yue Building is part of the Huang Huihuang Villa. The front façade of the villa features small lion and angel figures, and other decorations including peacock, scrolling plants, birds and flowers, elephant, butterfly, and the dragon-and-jewel pattern on the beam, all are the works of artisans from Kinmen. Among the exterior decorations of the villa, there is an inscription stating "Year 20 of the Republic of China," indicating the construction period of the villa. In addition, there is a clock at the highest point, pointing to "12:40," mainly to inform the descendants that while others rest at 12:00 noon, they should rest only at 12:40, encouraging the descendants to work harder and more diligently than others, in order to achieve success.
