新竹縣關西鎮上南片79號
The Yu Zhang Hall Luo Wook Bookhouse sits in this approximately 500-600 meter radius block formed by the Niulan River and Fengshan Stream. This beautiful natural village scene was also captured by Qi Zhilin in his film "Seeing Taiwan". Hoping to preserve the old houses and pass down Hakka cultural memories such as weaving bamboo, making vegetable packages, and waterwheel irrigation plains, Luo Shilong quit his job and returned to his ancestors' old house, joining the ranks of preserving old houses in Guanxi. Experience rural fun in a three-in-one courtyard with a four-horizontal layout of Hakka ancient house. The first time you see it, you will be amazed. It used to be Luo's family private school and old house. The European-style carvings on the walls are exquisite. Although it's a common residence, it has delicate wall decorations like a temple. Part of Luo Wook Bookhouse is now open as a homestay. The old-fashioned guest rooms and kitchen become the best place to experience Hakka culture. The spacious three-in-one courtyard can also be turned into a campsite. Kids can run around and play freely. In July and November every year, you can admire the golden rice sea in front of the courtyard and play in the paddy field maze. Info.
