In the northeastern part of Toufen City, on the old Qijia red soil hills, lies a hidden and unspoiled land; here, there are rows of tea gardens, shade from maple trees, whispering pine trees, roads lined with Acacia trees, and walking trails connecting various natural scenic spots. Along the way, the sounds of cicadas and birds fill the air, composing a symphony of nature. In the summer, the oil tung flowers bloom like white snow, covering the ground romantically. As the seasons change, the yellow flowers of the Acacia trees, grapefruit flowers, and pear flowers take turns blooming, accompanying visitors as they explore the trails. The vibrant colors and fragrant scents always leave visitors in awe. This secluded paradise is what we call the "Toufen Back Garden". When visiting the Toufen Back Garden, the first stop must be the "Laoqi Rest Trail". This trail is the new look of the Laoqi Trail after renovation, and the construction maintained the original terrain and mountain shape, using natural ecological engineering methods. Therefore, it is both beautiful and rustic. The trail is approximately 4 kilometers long, with parking lots at four entrances: Xuanhua Hall, Jinchun Farm, Yiming Tea Garden, and Rixin Tea Garden. Visitors can choose to take a short round trip or a circular hike based on their time and physical strength. Along the way, there are pine forest stone steps, maple tree red soil trails, wooden sleeper rails, and Acacia tree red soil trails, each showcasing its unique charm. Toufen is famous for producing "Pongfeng Tea", so tea gardens are everywhere in the Back Garden. Each tea farm has a stone monument standing in front of it that reads "Toufen Back Garden", telling you that you are in this land full of rural charm. "Pongfeng Tea", also known as "Oriental Beauty Tea", has a unique flavor that is deeply loved by tea enthusiasts. After hiking or strolling through the woods, you might as well sit down and enjoy a cup of good tea. The Hakka three-in-one courtyard of Xu's old house, the red brick tea house of Yiming Tea Garden, the Tang-style garden tea house of Youyou Xiaojing, and Jinchun Farm are all filled with a rich cultural atmosphere, which perfectly matches the tranquil mood of sipping Chinese tea.
