It is unanimously agreed by experts and scholars that the ancient well, red brick houses, and flora and fauna ecology of the Ruijing Community are of significant preservation and development value. Ruijing is an outdoor ecological classroom for people to explore and seek ancient times, and its spatial development connotation is based on the perspective of "ecology, leisure, and recreation" to review future land use. Ruijing, formerly known as Jingzaitou, is a place name that first appeared in the Daoguang period of the Qing dynasty, according to the Changhua County Gazette. The origin of the place name is due to three wells in the southwest valley of the village, and the settlement is located above the springhead. It is said that these three wells have different functional distinctions: the first well is located at the upstream of the spring, which is used by local residents for drinking water; the second well is a water storage well to prepare for the insufficient need of the first well; and the third well is located downstream of the spring, which is used by locals for washing clothes. As civilization developed and tap water became widely used, the use of ancient wells for drinking water gradually decreased. However, the rich natural resources of the保安林地 (保安 forest land) have become a favorite outing spot for residents on the Dadu Mountain plateau. The old Myanmar flowering tree is located in front of the Fude Temple near the ancient well in Ruijing Village. Legend has it that many years ago, a couple would often meet under the old Myanmar flowering tree. With the blessing of the tree and the Land God, they finally became a couple. There are three centenarian Myanmar flowering trees here. Whenever it's time for the flowers to bloom, walking under the old trees allows one to smell a faint and elegant fragrance that wafts through the air.
