Handed down for nearly five decades, it has accompanied local residents through almost fifty years of memories; its honest, unpretentious flavors evoke the nostalgia of old-fashioned railway lunch boxes. The signature pig’s-feet rice is still prepared the traditional way—slow-simmered over charcoal for three hours—yielding tender, springy meat that is fragrant yet never greasy. Besides pig’s-feet rice, the pork-chop and braised-pork rice are also customer favorites. The clean, simply decorated dining room serves dishes quickly while maintaining strict hygiene, using an ultrasonic dishwasher to ensure spotless tableware.
