The trailhead is located at the Zhenxi Fort Tourist Service Center. The main attraction of the trail is the Zhenxi Fort Giant Tree Cluster, which covers an area of 50 square kilometers. Within this dense forest, there are over 200 giant trees. It's said that it takes more than three days to see all the giant trees. This area is also home to Taiwan's largest and most abundant original forest of Taiwan red cypress and Chinese juniper. The Giant Tree Cluster can be divided into two routes: Area A and Area B. Area A was developed earlier and is located at the platform under Jinaqi Mountain, also known as the Jinaqi Giant Tree Cluster. The route is more challenging and less obvious. Area B has a gentler route and is visited by more tourists.
