新北市金山區三界壇路101號旁
The origin of the Jinshan Old Airport Site dates back to the Japanese colonial era when a small military airfield was constructed here. However, shortly after its completion, a plane crashed, and the airfield was abandoned before its official opening. Today, three large stone rollers used to compact the ground still remain on site, which were tools used by the Japanese military to flatten the land, and are now the only remaining relics. Most of the original airfield has been converted into farmland (located within the Jhongming Six Stock Flower Agricultural Area), which is a major supplier of rhododendron flowers in the country, with an annual output of several million plants, and many of the rhododendrons in Yangmingshan are transplanted from here. Another site is the Li Fong Feng Old Residence, a traditional Minnan-style three-section compound with a history of over 200 years, which is the most well-preserved ancient Minnan-style house in the North Coast region. According to historical records, the owner of the Li Fong Feng Residence was Li Bu, who immigrated to Taiwan from Zhangzhou in 1802 and started from scratch, becoming one of the wealthiest and most prominent families in the area. Upon entering the Li Fong Feng Residence, there is a semi-circular pool in the front and a fruit garden in the back, showcasing the traditional feng shui design of seeking wealth and prosperity. In accordance with the Qing dynasty's customs, ordinary people's houses were not allowed to have curved roof ridges, but the Li Fong Feng Residence has an elegant curved roof ridge, demonstrating the owner's power and achievements. The decorative ornaments on the roof ridge are also exquisite. Currently, the Li Fong Feng Residence is still inhabited, and as long as visitors do not disturb the residents, they are welcome to observe the house from the outside.
