The entrance to Neihu Mountain Trail is located beside the old Provincial Highway 21 in Zhongming Village, connected to Shui Xiang and Zhongming Bicycle Path. The trail is about 1,500 meters long and gently ascends along a ravine. The path features bluestone steps and wooden boardwalks. On the trail, one passes behind Yunpin Hotel and reaches the viewpoint, offering a distant view of Sun Moon Lake. The endpoint of the trail is Linsi Gate of the Wenwu Temple. Along the way, cedar trees, bamboo groves, and plants such as Bottlebrush Tree (Schefflera octophylla) and Luan Da Qiu Hai Tang (Begonia sp.) can be seen. The trail is shaded by dense foliage, providing a cool and comfortable environment. Birdsong and insect calls echo continuously, indicating rich biodiversity. Fireflies in late spring and early summer are a particularly notable feature of this area.
