高雄市大樹區7鄰統嶺路88號
Taiwan’s Tian Tan (Temple of the Heaven) is located at the northern end of Dashi Township, facing the Gaoping River and the Lishan Bridge to the front, while mountains surround it on three sides, providing convenient transportation and magnificent scenery. Covering nearly 30,000 square meters, the temple’s grand entrance archway and 99 steps lead visitors and devotees into the solemn, elegant sanctuary of quiet cultivation. The exquisite sculpted dragon reliefs add a majestic flair. Tian Tan is modeled after the Tian Tan in Beijing, featuring a circular structure with three stories. Its design is adorned with red beams, green arches, and gold‑tinted glazed tiles, exuding a harmonious and grand aura. Inside, the layout is simple yet elegant, with different levels dedicated to worshiping the Master of the Clear Water, the Immortal Emperor Guan, and the Jade Emperor. Besides serving as a place of faith and devotion for worshippers, it also offers an outstanding viewpoint to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Gaoping River. ▶ Learn more about accommodations in Dashi District
