Simplified Chinese Worship of the Main Deity: Wu Bili Festival Date: Lunar July 15 The Wu Fuxian (Wu Family Deity) was established in the year 1706. When residents from counties such as Kinmen and Xiamen migrated to Wangan Township, Penghu County, they brought their worship with them. Later, due to living conditions, they moved to Qimei Township (formerly Taishan) and set up a shrine for Wu Bili, a faith that continued to be venerated. Hence the deity was called the Wu Fuxian, and the temple is named Wu Fuxian Palace.
