Jie Mei Xia Gang is located between the Li Wan Nature Recreation Area and the Da Shi Scenic Area. Nestled within is a small bay encircled by basalt cliffs. Along the shoreline, coastal erosion has formed two narrow gaps resembling a passage; the one above is called Ding Gang at the northern end, and the wider southern one is known as Xia Gang, serving as a critical path for local residents traveling to the shore. Following a stone staircase along the path extends directly to the beach, forming a wave-cut platform within the small bay. The surrounding view offers an up-close glimpse of the tilted sea cliff with columnar jointed rock formations and the deep blue ocean. On either side of Xia Gang, the seashore platforms serve as popular spots for leisure fishing. An observation pavilion is also set up there for rest, providing panoramic views of the coastal line from Long Cheng, Shi Shi, to Xia Gang. [Recommended Length of Stay] 1 hour.
