Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area is situated in Fuyuan Village, Ruishui Township, Hualien County. It features Taiwan's largest camphor tree forest. The park has numerous trails with a major trail system totaling 6,807 meters. Notable trails include the Huanxi Trail and Huanshan Trail, varying in length, gradient, and difficulty. These trails are interconnected, forming a comprehensive trail network. Along the routes, visitors can explore attractions such as Longyin Waterfall, Longyin Suspension Bridge, boulders, and bat caves. Over 30 butterfly species and more than 40 bird species can also be found here. The area is suitable for visitors year-round, offering enlightening and emotional experiences whether for vacation, hiking, or ecological observation.
