The best place to take in the panoramic view of the Puchizi River Estuary Wetland is from the Dongshi Bridge. Standing on the bridge, you will see a magnificent view of the river estuary. If you happen to be there during low tide, the sandbars in the river will emerge, and you can see precious ecological scenery. The ecosystem here is mainly composed of the river estuary intertidal zone, mudflats, mangrove forests, and oyster racks. The southern unique sea buckthorn mangrove forests and the fiddler crabs that often appear in the wetlands are the precious guests of the Puchizi River Estuary Wetland. To allow visitors to better understand the ecological content of the Puchizi River Estuary Wetland, bird-watching and scenic facilities have been built on both sides of the riverbank, and many interesting and lovely explanatory signs have been created to help visitors better understand the distribution of flora and fauna here. The riverbank is not only a great place for a leisurely walk but also an ideal spot for cycling. Of course, you can also choose to take a sightseeing fishing boat from the Dongshi Fisherman's Wharf and experience the mangrove forest and wetland ecology by tracing back up the river from the estuary.
