台東縣台東市更生路856號
Teacher Kai Ying has been learning traditional weaving and embroidery alongside elder members of his tribe since childhood. Over time, he has mastered these skills and has devoted himself to preserving and promoting tribal culture. He strives relentlessly to deepen the roots of tribal culture and enhance his own aesthetic cultivation, seizing every resource and opportunity at hand. His continuous, focused study is evident on the studio walls, where rows of domestic and international design certification courses are neatly displayed. Behind the vivid indigenous attire, one can also see a well‑filled bookshelf with rich indigenous cultural materials and collections of works. The modest Kai Ying Indigenous Cultural Studio has gradually accumulated energy and strength under Teacher Kai Ying’s perseverance. Today, it focuses on various indigenous cultural artworks, including cross‑stitch, traditional indigenous clothing, improved custom tribal attire, and accessories. Through these pieces, the cultural symbols of the Amis people are woven and passed down through thread and needle.
