The North Gate Bike Trail is a 3-kilometer cycling path rich in salt industry history and culture. Along the route, visitors can closely observe the scenic salt lake, bamboo stake salt field, salt field ruins, mangrove forest, salt marsh wetland ecosystem, and Beimen lagoon. Most of the bike trail is paved with AC asphalt, featuring safety barriers, explanatory signs, and indicator signs, providing tourists with a comfortable and safe riding experience. The trail also includes shaded pavilions, leisure seats, and bird-watching platforms. At sunset, visitors can stop to admire the beautiful scenery of the salt fields, and during winter, they may have the opportunity to witness thousands of Black-bellied Terns flying. There are many popular tourist spots along the bike trail, including North Gate Wedding Mermaid, Crystal Church, and Qianlaiye General Store. Qianlaiye General Store offers bicycle rentals, allowing visitors to rent bikes and ride along the North Gate Bike Trail, enjoying the coastal scenery and the enthusiasm of the sea breeze.
