新北市土城區220板橋區中山路1段161號
The New Taipei City Government Administrative Building was completed and opened on March 24, 2003. This is a 33-story above-ground, 4-story underground, 140.5-meter-high technological and intelligent building, aiming to provide high-quality and efficient services to the citizens of New Taipei City. The New Taipei City Government Building is connected to the Banqiao Station, which integrates Taiwan Railway, High-Speed Rail, and MRT, as well as the long-distance bus station and bus stops via the underground corridors of Xinfu Road and Xinzhan Road, making transportation convenient and accessible from all directions. In addition to providing employees with a high-quality office environment, the City Government Building also offers multifunctional service facilities such as a nursery, restaurants, a bakery, an observation restaurant, and an observation deck. The first-floor lobby also features exhibition designs in public spaces. Connected to it, the Civic Plaza not only has lush greenery but also hosts various folk and cultural performances from time to time. Citizens can come to this shared space to rest and stroll, experiencing the display of architecture and artworks that reflect the city's move toward internationalization. In addition to serving as an administrative center, the New Taipei City Administrative Building also plays a role as a disaster response and traffic command hub. The city's Disaster Response Center and Traffic Control Center are located on the 9th floor of the City Government Building. With the establishment of the Traffic Control Center, it can appropriately manage the city's major traffic intersections, adjusting peak traffic flow and alleviating congestion through signal displays. The Disaster Response Center connects the city's disaster relief situations and disaster sites via satellite transmission and SNG connections, comprehensively grasping the disaster status to enable the best disaster response measures at the first moment, ensuring the safety of citizens' lives and property.
