Xinzhuang Youth Park lies between the Shibafenken and Yakouken Creeks, on the Mudan Mountain range, and was laid out following the natural topography. From the entrance to the main grounds, a green tunnel has been built; the surrounding slopes are planted with sweetgum, and a hiking trail follows the ridge of the Mudan range, its sides lined with dozens of species—azaleas, cherry blossoms, and more. The park also hosts a variety of wild flora and fauna worth savoring. Built along the natural mountain contours, its highest point is about 200 m above sea level. Throughout the park, lush wild and cultivated trees and flowers thrive, ringed by mountain roads and hiking trails. Inside are badminton courts and a main play area for children, plus three pavilions (Xingzhuang, Mudan, and Wenzhi) for resting, and two viewing platforms that overlook the whole Xinzhuang area. In addition to well-preserved original forest, ecological guided tours are provided.
