Shan Mei Zheng Ji was established in 1953, originally located at the East Gate Roundabout in Tainan City. For 60 years, we have continued to preserve the traditional local flavor. With over half a century of dedication, we adhere to the principles of using fresh ingredients and maintaining hygiene in our production process. We proudly present our bowl rice cakes and fish soup, which have been our signature dishes since our opening. Shan Mei Zheng Ji's bowl rice cakes come in only two flavors: bowl rice cakes and fish soup. Our bowl rice cakes are made with specially selected rice flour for the outer skin, paired with meat floss, shrimp, mushrooms, and salted egg yolks. The fish soup uses Tainan's specialty,虱目魚 (Milkfish) and black flagtail fish, to create a deliciously sweet and crispy fish soup.
