Fengpu Tea Shop was established in Xiamen. The founder's family has been engaged in tea growing for generations. When he was 14 years old, he left Quanzhou Anxi to become an apprentice in Xiamen, and later started the "Fengpu Tea Shop" by the dock. In 1922, the founder came to Dadaocheng in Taipei to start his business, and Fengpu gradually grew. From 1951 to 1953, Fengpu won the first prize in the Taiwan Provincial and New Taipei City Excellent Tea Competition three times. At that time, celebrities such as Yu Youren, Jiang Menglin, and Wang Yunwu came to buy tea from Fengpu. Fengpu Tea Shop was the pioneer in the tea bag business in all of Taiwan. The small packaged tea bags were exported overseas, bringing glory to the country. After more than 100 years in business, the shop has now grown strong. The descendants of the Fengpu family now run their own businesses separately on Zhongqing Road, Jilin Road, and Zhongqing North Road, all sharing the same old shop name. The shop's treasured possession is the founder's trademark seal, engraved with the words "No deception to customers, young or old," reflecting the business philosophy of integrity and honesty that Fengpu Tea Shop has always upheld.
