The Chen Ming Art Museum, nestled among mountains and forests, embodies the lifetime creations of Mr. Chen Ming and his dedication to art. From the very beginning, it has been independently funded, refusing external influences, and Mr. Chen Ming took full responsibility for all the details of the project. Over the course of twelve years, he gradually carved out a unique space. In fact, the initial purchase and preparation of the land was merely to solve the problem of storing large-scale artworks. However, he found that the sculptures standing in the greenery had a unique charm, which inspired him to build an art museum. Thus, on September 19, 1999, the Chen Ming Art Museum, now an important part of Taiwan's art history, was born! The wide open-air exhibition areas and the close-up display style of the Chen Ming Art Museum are unique throughout Taiwan. Moving between artworks and greenery, feeling the exciting interaction between humanities and nature, is a rare experience for many visitors; only such a space can truly reflect the grandeur contained in Chen Ming's works. Since its opening, the Chen Ming Art Museum not only provides static exhibitions, but also organizes a series of artistic performances, from theater, rap to music, with the purpose of encouraging visitors to interact with different forms of art, and to reflect Mr. Chen Ming's concept of a "living art museum." The exhibition areas include classic works from the "Tai Chi Series" and "Human Series" of the master sculptor Chen Ming. The museum's main building, first exhibition hall, second exhibition hall, science park, Zhu Jun area, and art exchange area display works from the master's different periods and other artists. The Chen Ming Art Museum also has a children's art center where children can approach art in a relaxed and enjoyable manner through viewing and playing.
