金門縣891金湖鎮蓮庵里惠民富康農莊17號
The Kinmen County Animal Industry Research Center was established in 1958, initially as the Kinmen County Pasture, renamed to Kinmen County Animal Husbandry Farm in 1979, and reorganized as the Kinmen County Animal Product Research Center in 1985. It is dedicated to the development of local livestock industries and the production and sale of "freshgrass" milk. Since 2011, the center has introduced Australian Brahman cattle for breeding management and promotion, continuously advancing its initiative to promote "Kinmen distiller's grains beef." The facility currently features a Children's Zoo, exhibition hall, farmers' classroom, horse stables for viewing, Panguo Grassland, Brahman cattle area, and sika deer zone. Visitors can also tour observatories converted from anti-airborne bunkers. In recent years, the Kinmen County Animal Industry Research Center has actively transitioned into a regional leisure pasture, informing visitors about Kinmen's animal industry and offering outdoor experience activities. In the future, family-friendly tour programs will also be planned, and don't miss the chance to taste the center’s homemade products—including special fresh milk and various flavored ice pops—known to be addictive!
