Left Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Dapeng Bay, on the western side of Linbian Da-pai, covering an area of approximately 8 hectares. The artificial wetland system in this area primarily treats the wastewater from within Linbian Da-pai. Wastewater flows into the wetland via natural gravity flow, and also flows out by the same method and discharges into Cifeng Wetland. The simplified flow process of the Left Bank Wetland treatment unit is illustrated in the figure. Bird species observed in the wetland include osprey, bean goose, black-faced spoonbill, great reed warbler, mallard, and yellow-billed duck.
