The Right Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Taiping Bay, to the east of the Linbian Drainage Channel. Covering approximately 8 hectares, it is planned as an artificial wetland system divided into two zones. This system treats effluent from drainage ditches such as the Datanshin Branch Line, Datangxin High Ground, and the Nanpu Pond Datangxin Sub-line. On sunny days, it performs water quality purification, and during heavy rains, it serves as flow interception and flood detention. It also restores wetland ecosystems to recover biodiversity and natural landscapes, thereby enhancing ecological tourism value. This integrated artificial wetland combines water purification, wildlife habitats, landscapes, and flood control functions.
Bird species observed in the wetland include the Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Golden Plover, and Curlew Sandpiper.
