This shop started out as a small stall in front of the temple. Today it has its own little storefront next to the temple. Most people think of “yóu fàn” (oil rice) as greasy, but the oil rice at this temple corner is distinctly separate grains, fresh and crisp, making it hard to stop at just one bowl. The owner first drizzles it with a rich sauce, then adds a special house‑made seasoning to suit personal preference; the added sauce further enhances the aroma of the oil rice.
