Ding Taishan Temple was built in the 19th year of the Qianlong Emperor in the Qing Dynasty (1754 AD). It is the oldest temple in the Taishan area and is now listed as a national third-class ancient monument. The most recent renovation took place during the Japanese colonial period, and was planned and designed by the famous craftsman Chen Yingbin and his apprentices. The temple's layout consists of two courtyards and two corridors with double side wings. The interior decorations, including wooden carvings, stone carvings, and murals, are exquisite and delicate, showcasing the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and rich auspicious meanings. The main deity worshiped at Ding Taishan Temple is Xianying Zushi, and every year on September 18th, a grand celebration is held to commemorate the birthday of Zushi. Nearby, there is a trail called Qixing Head, which is a famous ancient trail in Taishan. It can also lead to Yixuekeng and Mingzhi Academy, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of Taishan's cultural relics in one trip.
