Yulin Creek Food Court is located on Chengding Street in Douliu City. It is commonly referred to by locals as the "covered night market" or "snack street," a concentrated area of food stalls. In the early 1960s, vendors originally gathered on Zhonghua Road, Zhongzheng Road, and Gongzheng Street to sell their goods. Later, the town's public office organized them to concentrate their business on Gongzheng Street. A few years later, as the number of stalls increased, causing the crowds to grow and the environment on Gongzheng Street to become dirty and congested, the Douliu City Office decided to utilize the covered area of Yulin Creek to build the present "Yulin Creek Vendor Concentrated Area." This area has become a popular leisure destination for the residents of Douliu. Here, one can find a wide variety of local delicacies and quick-service seafood restaurants.
