Yunlin Station of the Taiwan High Speed Rail is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan. It is a station on the Taiwan High Speed Rail network and began operations on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all stations that share the same name as their county or city are main stations operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration. This station, along with Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City, are the only three exceptions. Nearby urban recreational attractions: to the south is Huwei city center, where visitors can tour towel factories, the Puppetry Museum, and the Huwei Sugar Factory. Heading north on County Road 145 leads to Xiluo Township, where visitors can explore Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple (Xiluo Mazu Temple), Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and the Xiluo Bridge. To the west is Tuku Township. Heading east on County Road 145B via the Huwei Interchange eventually leads to Citong Township; turning right there takes you to Douliu City. From Douliu city center, you can transfer to Taiwan Railways or visit the Douliu Baseball Stadium to watch games.
