Start your journey from the Haiching Palace, ride through the Siyuhu Wind Farm, and cycle under the dense shade of the casuarina trees. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground. The towering wind turbines rotate slowly, accompanied by the chirping of birds. As you pedal at a leisurely pace, you're immersed in the serene natural scenery.
This pleasant and secluded bike path was originally a farm road for ox carts. In 2012, it was converted into a bike path and lined with casuarina trees, a rare green bike path along the southwestern coast. The path is not only suitable for cycling but also perfect for a leisurely stroll in the afternoon. As you wander through the woods, you can easily observe the wetland ecosystem. Resting pavilions are built along the path, offering a place for visitors to rest.
The "Tian Xia Yi Jia" signpost along the way marks the location of the "Tian Xia Yi Jia Veterans' Residence". This is a house built by Mr. Guo Cheng, a veteran, after his retirement. He condensed his life experiences into this house, which is filled with exhibits and memorabilia. When Mr. Guo was still with us, you could enter the house and see the walls lined with glorious photos from his past. He would also share his stories with you. Now, as you pass by, you can only glance at this house filled with stories and reminisce about history.
