The northern part of Jinmen's central coast has a cape, shaped like a chicken's crown, named Ji Jitou (Chicken Crown Head). In the past, it served as a ferry dock for the Jinmen-Xiamen shipping route, and the sandy shore between Ji Jitou and Ying Mountain Temple was also a horse racing track. Strategically, this location controlled Yangshan Bay and Houjiang Bay, making it an important military defense outpost. Due to warfare, ships and horses are no longer seen there today; what remains are abandoned bunkers and a beautiful sunset jointly composing a picturesque scenery.
