The Guoxing Well is located in Xiadian Village. More than 300 years ago, when Zheng Chenggong led his troops to land on Jinmen Island, they arrived in the area of Xiadian. The soldiers and horses were exhausted, and they could not find drinking water. Therefore, Guoxingye (Zheng Chenggong) raised his sword and pointed to the ground, ordering the soldiers to dig a well in the direction the sword was pointing. Soon, fresh and clear spring water indeed gushed out. The well has never dried up, and the local people respectfully call it the "Guoxing Well." The well still has clear spring water today, and it is welcome for visitors to draw water for use.
