The Crayfish Museum in Zhuwan, Xiyu Township, Penghu, is located next to the Diyi Shrine in Zhuwan, covering an area of over a hundred ping. It houses hundreds of species of shrimp and crabs, with thousands of specimens and live specimens, making it the national champion. All of the crab collections in the museum are the fruits of the director Chen Hong‑tu’s hard work over six years. The crab specimens are the result of his own unique techniques developed through years of research. The museum’s dazzling array of shrimp and crabs will leave visitors in awe. The museum’s director, Chen Hong‑tu, is a native of Zhuwan, Xiyu. He has spent ten years working with crabs. Most of the crabs in the collection come from the waters around Penghu, and some are collected from around the world. There are the world’s largest, heaviest, most poisonous, and fastest‑running crabs, as well as tree‑climbing crabs, crabs with faces resembling Guan Yu, and crabs with horns. Additionally, there are deep‑sea shrimp that don’t have eyes, the largest lobsters, and countless other bizarre shrimp and crabs that are unimaginable—everything is on display at the Zhuwan Crayfish Museum.
