Sacred worship of the main deity: Guan Yin Bodhisattva Festival dates: Lunar February 19 and Lunar March 23 Built during the seventh year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1827 CE), it is a historic and uniquely styled structure that frequently attracts tourists for photos. According to local residents, since the Bodhisattva has been revered and protected, the harbor has been full of blessings, the stone sluice yields abundant catches, the region remains peaceful, all four seasons are free from disaster, and all eight festivals are celebrated. The residents live in peace and prosperity, and the site has thus become the local religious center.
