Yu Hua Xing Food was founded by Mr. Su Tsung-chu, the first-generation founder, in 1946 (the 35th year of the Republic of China). It was originally named "Hua Xing Cake Shop." In 1992 (the 81st year of the Republic of China), it expanded its operations and was reorganized as "Yu Hua Xing Food Co., Ltd."

In its early days, the company mainly produced traditional Chinese-style pastries and sacrificial foods in Taiwan, such as wheat tortoise, longevity peach, flaky pastry, pineapple flaky pastry, engagement cakes, peanut old, sesame old, etc. These are all foods that consumers love very much.
