Most people think of "Fu Le Mian Dian" as a bakery or a dairy shop when they hear the name, but that's not the case. Located in Gongguan Township, Miaoli County, the old-fashioned "Fu Le Mian Dian" has a history of over 30 years, since its establishment in the early days of the Republic of China. The name "Fu Le" was chosen by the first-generation owner, who hoped that the residents of Fuyi Village could live a peaceful and happy life. From its humble beginnings as a traditional noodle stall to its current restaurant-style operation, it has retained the original owner's commitment to cuisine and emphasis on traditional flavors, as well as the legacy of traditional Hakka cuisine. The use of local ingredients in its dishes is a result of the second-generation owner's dedication, transforming simple Hakka cuisine into more refined and diverse options. He expressed his hope that through food, more gourmets and friends interested in Hakka culture can have the opportunity to reacquaint themselves with and learn more about it. The Hsinchu store is a branch of the original shop.
