The owner of the dyeing and weaving workshop, Lin Shu-li, learned the traditional Atayal dyeing and weaving techniques after marrying into the Shihbi tribe from out of town. She became proficient in traditional techniques such as extracting fibers from ramie, extracting colors from plants, and weaving on a loom. She also established a workshop to actively promote these skills. Visitors can experience DIY activities such as plant dyeing, dyeing and weaving, and framed weaving painting. The workshop also offers a café and bed and breakfast services.
