Spanning Yunlin and Chiayi, the Beigang Tourist Bridge is an arch-type bridge whose red-and-gold triple-ring design evokes the form of a dragon, linking Beigang’s Chaotian Temple with Xingang’s Shuixian Temple in auspicious harmony. Bicycle paths, parks, and viewing platforms line the bridge, making it Beigang’s dazzling landmark. Inside the bridge, landscape lighting is integrated with motifs drawn from local culture and surrounding scenery; through nighttime illumination and light projection, the riverbanks and Chaotian Temple reveal entirely different faces by day and by night. Observatories, viewing decks, bike lanes, riverside walkways, and ancillary buildings for ecological and sports parks will be added around the bridge, drawing visitors from across Taiwan and giving Beigang Township, Yunlin County, an even richer tourism appeal.
