Wang Lai Mountain Pineapple Cultural Park is located near Chung Cheng University in Chiayi, and the name Wang Lai Mountain comes from a place in Minxiong that specializes in pineapple production, so in Taiwanese it is called “Wang Lai (pineapple) Mountain.”

The park’s main attraction is the pineapple cake produced in Minxiong, inviting tourists to visit. The factory offers free hot tea and pineapple cakes for visitors to taste.

Wang Lai Mountain’s local pineapple cakes use pineapples grown by a pineapple expert who has received the God of Agriculture Award and GAP safety fruit certification. The pineapple is harvested on site and used immediately for the filling, while the crust is made with local chicken eggs, Japanese artisan flour, and imported European milk powder and French premium butter.
