Art Creation and Exhibition Venue The Chiayi Railway Art Village was originally an abandoned railway warehouse. Under the planning of the city government, the site was transformed into an art creation and exhibition space in September 2000. The goal was to establish a platform for artistic exchange and enjoyment, combining local characteristics and community overall planning to achieve the ideal vision of the Railway Art Village. The railway warehouse complex consists of 12 storage rooms, forming a long, narrow, multi-section building. Seven of the rooms are managed by the Railway Administration's Freight Service Department, covering a total indoor area of approximately 775 pings. The interior and exterior spaces are designated for various purposes, including creation, exhibitions, performances, and educational promotions.
