Deep within a secluded bamboo forest, the "Taiwan Kyoto Wonderland" Wuyuanliangjiao sits at an elevation of 1,600 m, reachable only after winding along mountain roads. Originally rebuilt as eight bamboo pavilions for shelter from the rain, they have 52 eaves in total—hence the name. Strolling through the bamboo grove near the guesthouse offers a serenity far from worldly noise, and occasionally a Swinhoe’s pheasant darts past, making the scene feel like a fairyland.
